PI-OMBB is a methyl ester. It is a highly efficient Free Radical Type II solid photoinitiator with extremely low odor. Used to initiate the UV polymerization of chemically unsaturated pre-polymers in combination with tertiary amine synergists.
Used in various UV curable systems, like UV coatings and inks. Its performance can be significantly improved if combined with amine synergists. Especially recommended to use in formulations requiring low odor or odorless. It is recommended to use in overprint varnishes, coatings on plastics, wood coatings, lithographic inks, silkscreen inks and flexo inks.
