ETERMER 221 is a clear, high boiling monomeric diester liquid. It is a long hydrocarbon chain crosslinking agent which has polymerization characteristics similar to ethyl acrylate. ETERMER 221 is a difunctional monomer which is under exposure to ionizing radiation or added sources of free radicals undergo polymerization.
Radiation cured coatings, inks, adhesives, textiles products, photoresists, castings or as modifiers for polyester or other fiberglass or inorganic-filled molded or extruded polymers by ultraviolet, beta or gamma radiation.
